Volunteer Opportunities & Application
Volunteers are the heart of One Love, and there are many ways to make a difference. You can assist at our spay and neuter clinics, help care for and train dogs at Heidi’s Village, support shelter operations by distributing enrichment and taking dogs to weekly training classes, participate in fundraising events, or even open your home by fostering a dog in need. No matter your skills or experience, your time and energy help improve the lives of dogs and strengthen the communities that love them.

Event Volunteers
From our annual events to smaller community fundraisers, every gathering helps One Love raise the funds needed to save lives — and volunteers are essential to making them run smoothly. By helping at events, you ensure everything goes off without a hitch while directly supporting our mission to care for dogs in need. Every hand makes a difference and brings us closer to brighter futures for both dogs and people.
Short & Long Term Fosters
A few days in a quiet home can make all the difference for a dog in the shelter system. Some need to recover from illness while others simply need to relax in a loving and stress-free environment. Our ultimate goal is to get them healthy and ready for adoption. One Love is currently searching for approved short or long term foster homes. The time frame may vary from a few days to a year.

We will notify you when we schedule our next One Love 101 presentation. Once you have attended One Love 101, our Volunteer Coordinator will meet with you for a one-on-one training prior to being onboarded as an official member of the One Love Army!
